Hosta ‘First Frost’ 1G

First Frost Hosta is a sport of Halcyon Hosta. This parentage is what gives vibrant blue coloration to the leaves. The difference appears in the golden leaf margins changing to white as the year progresses. First Frost is best grown in loamy soil with dappled light. Morning sun helps to improve leaf colors, but afternoon sun can prove to be deadly.
