Large, conical flowers, some the size of a football, are held on sturdy stems creating an attractive focal point in the garden or container. The flowers emerge lime green and change to pure white finally becoming light pink in the cooler temperatures of fall. Bred in Holland, Hydrangea ‘Polar Bear’ has the largest flowers of any paniculata hybrid, and it provides the gardener with sensational cut flowers to decorate the home.
