The butterfly-attracting Pearly Everlasting produces showy clusters of globular pearly white, button-like flowers with papery bracts surrounding yellow centers. The flowers keep their colour and texture when dried making it ideal for dried-flower enthusiasts. The undersides of the foliage are covered in tiny hairs giving them a woolly feel and appearance. Anaphalis margaritacea is easy to grow from seed and very drought-tolerant once established.
